Colonial History Walk

Note The colonial Nasik walk explored the nineteenth and early twentieth century architecture of the city. The colonial period in Nasik has left its markers in the form of multiple buildings which trace the architectural changes of the period. Exploring planning, architecture, and material histories through a series of buildings and infrastructure projects, the walk participants engaged with the structures to understand the city’s transformations through its built environment. The walk covered some known and lesser known structures, exploring their interior spaces. It provided the participants with a better historical understanding of the city.
